DESCRIPTION
Pescia, which is known for its floriculture and paper production, is located approximately 15km from Montecatini Terme. A city founded by the Lombards, the town is made up of two centres connected by the characteristic Ponte del Duomo: the first is focused around the large Piazza Mazzini in the Palagio and its fortified towers, and the second near the Cathedral and Porta Fiorentina.
